By using this website or purchasing a calf from Mini Highland Cow Ranch, you agree to the terms below. Please read carefully before placing a deposit.

Animal Availability

All calves listed on our website are subject to prior sale. Listings are updated as quickly as possible, but availability can change without notice. We reserve the right to remove or refuse a sale if circumstances change — illness, injury, or a breeding decision.

Deposit and Reservation

• A 50% non-refundable deposit reserves a calf in your name and removes it from public listings.
• Deposits are non-refundable because we stop showing the calf to other buyers and continue feeding and handling it under your name.
• Once a deposit clears, we will hold the calf at no extra charge for up to 60 days. Continued care beyond 60 days is available at $2 per calf, per day.

Farm Pickup

• A $200 holding fee per calf is required to confirm farm pickup at our Kansas City, MO location.
• Once paid, your calf will be prepared and ready for collection within 3 business days.

Final Payment

The remaining balance is due before pickup or before transport begins. Accepted payment methods: Zelle, CashApp, Apple Pay, bank transfer (ACH), or cleared personal check.

Shipping

• Shipping costs are quoted separately and paid by the buyer.
• Risk of loss transfers to the buyer once the calf leaves our property.
• We use trusted, USDA-approved livestock transporters and carriers but do not control their performance.

Health Guarantee

Each calf is sold with a written one-year health guarantee. See our Health Guarantee page for full terms, exclusions, and the documentation required to make a claim.

Pricing and Changes

Prices listed are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Quoted prices are honored once a deposit clears.

Disclaimers

• We make no warranties beyond those expressly stated in our health guarantee.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including those related to shipping delays beyond our control.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA. Any disputes arising from a sale will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
